The Arrival of Tablets with Full Phone Capability

It all started with the thought of making everything easier, handy and a lot convenient to consumers.

When Personal Computers or Desktop Computers arrived, they thought it was too big to be carried around and that they needed something lighter or can be convenient while traveling especially with businessmen who usually take their jobs at home.

Then, they decided to make something Portable. In 1983 APPLE'S LISA is the first personal computer with a GUI (Graphical User Interface), after it flopped it evolved into a MACINTOSH.

Also in May 1983 is the birth of the very first LAPTOP the GAVILAN SC.

2000 Microsoft coined the term Microsoft Tablet PC for tablet PCs built to Microsoft's specification, and running a licensed specific tablet enhanced version of its Microsoft Windows OS, but it never gained popularity because of some unresolved issues.

In 2002  original equipment manufacturers released the first tablet PCs designed to the Microsoft Tablet PC specification. This generation of Microsoft Tablet PCs were designed to run Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, the Tablet PC version of Windows XP.

The evolution of portable computers started, until 2007 the Iphone brought many computer functions on a smartphone.

In 2009 Microsoft launched Windows7, which offers the ability to pin applications to the taskbar and advances in touch and handwriting recognition.

In 2010 Apple unveiled the iPad, changing the way consumers view media and jumpstarting the dormant tablet computer segment. Then the competition started, among early competitors to Apple's iPad in the market for tablet computers not based on the traditional PC architecture were the 5" Dell Streak, released in June 2010, and the original 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab, released in September 2010.

At the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2011, over 80 new tablets were announced to compete with the iPad. Companies who announced tablets included: Motorola with its Xoom tablet (Android 3.0), Samsung with a new Samsung Galaxy Tab (Android 2.2), Research in Motion demonstrating their BlackBerry Playbook, Vizio with the Via Tablet, Toshiba with the Android 3.0 – run Toshiba Thrive, and others including Asus, and the startup company Notion Ink. Many of these tablets are designed to run Android 3.0 Honeycomb, Google's mobile operating system for tablets, while others run older versions of Android like 2.3, or a completely different OS such as the BlackBerry Playbook's QNX.[44] Other than the Motorola Xoom, by the time most competitors released devices of comparable size and price to the original iPad, Apple in March 2011 had already released their second generation iPad 2.

The birth of Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 5.3" born in 2011, September followed by Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 P6200 which was released in 2011, October, it all started now seemingly popular TABLETS WITH FULL PHONE CAPABILITIES which means you no longer need to have a 2-3 inches phone on your hand, then hold a 10 inches Tablet on the other. Every functions has been compressed on one device. It's like getting your money's worth.

I started this article, because it seems that some people find it stupid to hold a 7-8" gadget on your hand and use it for taking pictures and videos, and most of all he thought it your being a douche bag using your tablet as a phone. Probably his main thought is there is no function in any phone called "LOUD SPEAKER" or even "BLUETOOTH HEADSETS" probably these are functions of a gadget he is not aware of. He only thought every phone must be placed on his or hers ear. But weird thing is, he never find it stupid for a person holding 2 gadgets at a time where in both devices can do the same, the only difference of both gadget is that the other one can make a phone call and can send an sms.

I beg to disagree with the blogger.

Then I agreed, why the heck would I hold my 8" phone on my ear then speak loudly than get a Bluetooth earpiece. I love my Tab I can get an Iphone and an Ipad anytime I like but why would I buy to gadgets to do something that 1 gadget can and almost at the same price. This gadget can even do a lot better compared to them. It has various functions user friendly features. Do not get me wrong I am not downgrading or comparing 2 brands here. They are completely different with each other, my main argument lies on the fact that I love tablets with phone functions than anything else. When somebody asks me to get another device, I would still chose a tablet with phone functions. Because it is practical, convenient and a lot cool.
