The Arrival of Tablets with Full Phone Capability

It all started with the thought of making everything easier, handy and a lot convenient to consumers.

When Personal Computers or Desktop Computers arrived, they thought it was too big to be carried around and that they needed something lighter or can be convenient while traveling especially with businessmen who usually take their jobs at home.

Then, they decided to make something Portable. In 1983 APPLE'S LISA is the first personal computer with a GUI (Graphical User Interface), after it flopped it evolved into a MACINTOSH.

Also in May 1983 is the birth of the very first LAPTOP the GAVILAN SC.

2000 Microsoft coined the term Microsoft Tablet PC for tablet PCs built to Microsoft's specification, and running a licensed specific tablet enhanced version of its Microsoft Windows OS, but it never gained popularity because of some unresolved issues.

In 2002  original equipment manufacturers released the first tablet PCs designed to the Microsoft Tablet PC specification. This generation of Microsoft Tablet PCs were designed to run Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, the Tablet PC version of Windows XP.

The evolution of portable computers started, until 2007 the Iphone brought many computer functions on a smartphone.

In 2009 Microsoft launched Windows7, which offers the ability to pin applications to the taskbar and advances in touch and handwriting recognition.

In 2010 Apple unveiled the iPad, changing the way consumers view media and jumpstarting the dormant tablet computer segment. Then the competition started, among early competitors to Apple's iPad in the market for tablet computers not based on the traditional PC architecture were the 5" Dell Streak, released in June 2010, and the original 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab, released in September 2010.

At the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2011, over 80 new tablets were announced to compete with the iPad. Companies who announced tablets included: Motorola with its Xoom tablet (Android 3.0), Samsung with a new Samsung Galaxy Tab (Android 2.2), Research in Motion demonstrating their BlackBerry Playbook, Vizio with the Via Tablet, Toshiba with the Android 3.0 – run Toshiba Thrive, and others including Asus, and the startup company Notion Ink. Many of these tablets are designed to run Android 3.0 Honeycomb, Google's mobile operating system for tablets, while others run older versions of Android like 2.3, or a completely different OS such as the BlackBerry Playbook's QNX.[44] Other than the Motorola Xoom, by the time most competitors released devices of comparable size and price to the original iPad, Apple in March 2011 had already released their second generation iPad 2.

The birth of Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 5.3" born in 2011, September followed by Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 P6200 which was released in 2011, October, it all started now seemingly popular TABLETS WITH FULL PHONE CAPABILITIES which means you no longer need to have a 2-3 inches phone on your hand, then hold a 10 inches Tablet on the other. Every functions has been compressed on one device. It's like getting your money's worth.

I started this article, because it seems that some people find it stupid to hold a 7-8" gadget on your hand and use it for taking pictures and videos, and most of all he thought it your being a douche bag using your tablet as a phone. Probably his main thought is there is no function in any phone called "LOUD SPEAKER" or even "BLUETOOTH HEADSETS" probably these are functions of a gadget he is not aware of. He only thought every phone must be placed on his or hers ear. But weird thing is, he never find it stupid for a person holding 2 gadgets at a time where in both devices can do the same, the only difference of both gadget is that the other one can make a phone call and can send an sms.

I beg to disagree with the blogger.
http://pandodaily.com/2013/04/29/samsungs-galaxy-tab-3-a-tablet-that-can-make-phone-calls-whether-you-like-it-or-not/

Then I agreed, why the heck would I hold my 8" phone on my ear then speak loudly than get a Bluetooth earpiece. I love my Tab I can get an Iphone and an Ipad anytime I like but why would I buy to gadgets to do something that 1 gadget can and almost at the same price. This gadget can even do a lot better compared to them. It has various functions user friendly features. Do not get me wrong I am not downgrading or comparing 2 brands here. They are completely different with each other, my main argument lies on the fact that I love tablets with phone functions than anything else. When somebody asks me to get another device, I would still chose a tablet with phone functions. Because it is practical, convenient and a lot cool.

Look forward and move on

2011 for me is the year of blessings and a year of lessons learned through experiences. I loght have lost a lot of material things inside my sanctuary but I intend to take them everything back this year by focusing on a career in which this time I totally inspired because of my little angel that I will always look forward in going home to. I also intend to be successful so that I can give my daughter everything.. and I really mean everything.. I will make her feel that there is nothing more important in this world than being with her and giving everything that would make her happy. Inspiration comes from the people who has supported me all this time, especially my mom who through all my transgressions has always been by my side.. and to my husband who has always been by my side to support through all of my recent endeavors, making them happy is current my purport in life.

Feng Shui 2012 for Year of the Rat

Year of the Rat

Personality

Occupying the 1st and most prominent position on the Chinese Zodiac, the Rat symbolizes such character traits as wit, imagination and curiosity. Rats have keen observation skills and with those skills they’re able to deduce much about other people and other situations. Overall, Rats are full of energy, talkative and charming but they have a tendency to become aggressive.

Rats are full of good advice but they will never share their troubles with others. They are honest individuals and they enjoy living for the moment. They’re also capable of surviving any situation.

Health

Overall Rats enjoy good health. They’re very active which helps keep them in shape and able to fight off sickness. They can at times be tense, aggressive, and full of nervous energy, conditions which can lead to stress. Regular exercise designed to calm will benefit Rats.

Career

Extremely perceptive and wise, Rats can focus on the big picture. That ability along with their good judgment enables Rats to solve problems before they arise. Rats focus on titles because titles translate into status and money; two motivating forces. Rats make excellent bosses. Routine halts their creativity so Rats need flexible positions that allow creativity. Good career choices include: administrator, director, manager, entrepreneur, broadcaster, writer, musician, stand-up comedian, politician, lawyer, researcher, and race car driver.

Relationships

Rats are very charming. They enjoy social activities and because they’re out a lot, they’re always meeting new people. They aren’t good at breaking off relationships however, and this presents problems going forward with new relationships. Anyone hoping to partner with a Rat must be able to keep up with the Rat’s active nature.

Rats and the 5 elements

Metal Rats – Years 1900 and 1960

Metal Rats are strong-willed individuals who are determined to get what they want, regardless of the cost. Intensively emotional, their behavior can border on extreme. Possessive feelings, envy and rage can cause problems. Relationships can be problematic as Metal Rats are obstinate.

Water Rats – Years 1912 and 1972

Water Rats are extremely influential. They’re smart and insightful which makes them excellent at problem-solving. Practical and understanding, Water Rats interact well with and are liked by others.

Wood Rats – Years 1924 and 1984

Not nearly as self-confident as they appear on the surface, Wood Rats will never expose this vulnerability to others. They’re successful despite their perpetual fear of failing. Wood Rats enjoy being with friends and family and fortunately for them, feelings of love and respect are mutual.

Fire Rats – Years 1936 and 1996

Fire Rats enjoy being spontaneous. They enjoy traveling and taking on new tasks and will take on practically any new project or adventure simply to avoid any sense of routine and monotony. They’re zestful, spirited, and giving individuals who are well-liked by others.

Earth Rats – Years 1948 and 2008

Earth Rats prefer a sense of stability, digging in and putting down roots early to help ensure a successful future. They believe that slow and steady is the best approach. Being spontaneous is an inbred trait, but this type of behavior does not suit Earth Rats.

Compatibility

Rats are compatible with a Dragon and Monkey and incompatible with a Horse and Rabbit.

Rat people's fortune in 2012 Dragon year is fair. It shouldn't have a very exciting result or a very sad ending. Rat is in the Water group of Chinese Five Elements astrology. Dragon contains Earth, Water and Wood. In Chinese astrology, Dragon has a nickname, the Water Dam. When Rat Water enters the Dragon Water Dam, then the water will stop and stay inside. This implies Rat people won't see outstanding achievement in the Dragon year, but it doesn't mean that you have trouble in career, money or love. It only means you might get less return than you expected even if you put more effort in it. As long as you don't aim too high, you will be satisfied with what you will do in 2012.

Rat Water is connected to wisdom. In the Dragon year, Rat people can spend more time learning, improving job skills, and placing emphasis physical exercise. This way, you will have knowledge and energy to participate more network activities and build more people relationships. The network of resources will help you bring more income later. This is good time to charge yourself.

Career: When Rat meets Dragon, Dragon will be a very good advisor and it will bring wisdom to Rat. 2012 is a good opportunity for Rat people to perform their job duty, simply because Rat can do diligent work. Rat people will earn appreciation from their boss. Since the people relationship is good, Rat can get support and help from people around. The career opportunity might arrive suddenly. You can receive the benefit from the team work. Since Rat Water will enter Dragon Water Dam, people cannot see Rat after all. So remember that you should share credit to your partners to develop a deeper social network. Do not argue with people, otherwise you might lose your support.

Money: Money luck is fair and steady. 2012 is Water Dragon year. Rat people will be busy enjoying their social life. Either Rat people spend money on their friends, or their friends will help Rat people bring more income. Usually, if your astrology birth chart is lacking in Water, then your friend will provide you with financial advice or tell you about investment opportunities. The money luck will come better than you expected. If your astrology birth chart already has too much money, then your friends might ask a financial aid from you. Rat is Water and Dragon is Earth. Water is afraid of Earth. If Rat wants to spend too much money, then Dragon will stop it. It's safe for Rat people to look for long-term investment. A short-term risk business won't give you a satisfied result.

Love: Rat can get along with Dragon well. The Rat people's emotional development in 2012 will go smoothly. It's a good time for unmarried Rat people to find the ideal partner. Married couples should have a sweet memory of love in the Dragon year. However, Dragon is a Spiritual and Intelligent Star to Rat. Sometimes, Dragon needs quiet time and doesn't focus on love. It's possible that the one you love cannot spend too much time with you because of job or career reason. Therefore, if something unexpected happens to the love relationship, Rat people need to have some patience for a better timing of a romantic moment.

Health: The health luck is fair. Rat people should not have any big trouble in the Dragon year. 2012 is Water Dragon year. Dragon also contains Water. Therefore Rat people just have to pay attention on their cardiovascular system or watch for any kidney disease. It's a good idea to emphasize on physical exercise to keep the body warm. Also, Rat people should stay away from alcohol and tobacco to make sure there is no minor disease to bother you in the year of Dragon.

It doesn't mean that by slowing down, you will not achieve the success you hope for. Work smart and not hard. Pause and think before making drastic move and you will benefit from the year's auspicious energy.

Another major Feng Shui affliction in 2012 that brings the Rat inconveniences and aggravations is the Three Killings opposite its sector. Remedy this with Feng Shui Three Divine Guardians in the South sector. You are advised to stay diplomatic especially on controversial issues. The 28 and 40 year old Rats can look forward to some easy successes and unexpected good news. Just make sure you do not overwork yourself. Women Rats might find their love life unstable, and possibly having to deal with betrayal. Male Rats should watch out for backstabbing and politicking at the office, besides in relationships at home.

Your zodiac allies are the Dragon and Monkey while your horoscope secret friend is Ox. Your horoscope allies are friends whom you are connected and enjoy their company. A secret friend is someone you can always depend on, and will stand by you during tough times.

Three Horoscope Allies Amulet - Rat, Dragon & Monkey is a must-have lucky charm for Rat people.
